لا بد
لا بُدّ \ doubtless: without doubt; certainly: John will doubtless come on time as he always does. \ لا بُدّ أَنْ \ must: (p.t.. must have, neg.. can’t (have) used to express an idea that seems certain: She must be the new teacher (because I have not seen her in the school before). [i]She must have gone out for a walk (because she is not here, and had no other reason to go out). \ لا بُدّ لَه مِن \ have: (with to; also with got to in the present tense) to be forced, by need or duty: I have (got) to go now. Do you have to go (or, Have you got to go)? I shall have to go soon. I didn’t have to go, but I chose to go. \ لا بُدّ مِن \ must: (p.t.. had to, neg.. don’t/didn’t have to) be forced: I must give him the money or he will shoot me. imperative: urgent which must be done: It’s imperative that you finish this work today.
